We are planning a website relaunch. Is AccessGO worth it now?
Yes, absolutely. In practice, a relaunch often drags on for many months. During this transition period, you remain fully liable legally and risk official audits or warnings. No. A visual visitor widget (often a stick figure or gear symbol for contrast and font size) only covers approx. 10% to 20% of the legal requirements. Blind people or persons who rely on keyboard operation require structural adjustments deep in the source code (e.g., alt texts for images, logical link descriptions, skip links). What happens to our PDF documents? Do they also have to be accessible?
Yes, PDFs provided digitally (such as forms, statutes, official gazettes, or brochures) also fall under the legal guidelines. Since manual adjustment is extremely time-consuming, AccessGO offers an integrated PDF optimization service: you upload the document to your dashboard and our technology automatically corrects the structure, metadata, and alt texts. Within 24 hours, you will receive a PDF back that is usually over 95% accessible.
In addition to the main site, we have many small subdomains or country shops. Do we have to pay the full price for each one?
In principle, every domain requires its own license and its own accessibility statement. However, since connected sites (such as school websites of a municipality, sub-brands, or international country shops) are often technically based on the same template, we offer fair, tailored package and bundle prices for this. Just talk to us about your setup – we will find a solution that protects your budget.
Does the system slow down our website and how secure is form data when using AI?
The AccessGO script loads completely asynchronously and has no negative influence on your loading times (performance). On the contrary: the automatically generated alt texts for your images even have a positive effect on your SEO ranking.
